Fight off the cholesterol – barley

If you’re worried about having high cholesterol, a recent publishing in The European Journal of Clinical NutritionIf you’re worried about having high cholesterol, a recent publishing in The European Journal of Clinical Nutrition, recommends adding a regular helping of barley to your diet.

Try it in place of your breakfast oats – not only is it higher in fibre than oats, but also contains almost twice the protein and only half the calories!


You might remember my list of races this fall – this weekend is Cykelvasan!! 94km along the traditional Vasaloppet, although this time on MTB. 52 km forest paths, 37 km gravel and 5 km asphalt… Ahh… #excited

There will be 13 000 participants with starts through the whole day. Amazing, what a party 🙂

Will be heading up to Mora already this afternoon, camping on the shore of Siljan lake till Saturday morning and the start. After finishing a spa is awaiting in Tällberg. Hot sauna, amazing views of Siljan and great food.
